| We lose in these fiascoes. Here's why... Z32 parts is niche. There is only so much money to go around for vendors. If one person spends time & effort on a new product only to see someone else copy it and sell it cheaper, they are not likely to expend that effort twice. T his is not the same as a competing product built separately from the ground up - we're talking about cloning a new product quickly into its life. You can argue many factors that led to the opportunity for the copying (production costs & time, price, availability, lack of patent or no patent) but in the end someone decided that by making a copy, without any significant R&D or improvements, they could make an extra buck. Understand that these cast manifolds were a significant development for the Z32. Also, keep in mind that this is not the first time this has happened and EVERY vendor sells some product that is arguably a copy. The primary complaint here is "new" innovation. The big picture is that it will stifle new products for our tiny niche market. That means WE, as Z owners, lose.
